Training the Mind Series - Mental Health

NASWAZ Chapter 0 5

Join NASW AZ at State Farm Stadium this September for a conversation on the importance of mental health in sports. Connect with other behavioral and mental health organizations and learn how you can support mental health in Arizona.

The Training the Mind Series™ is a national mental health and performance platform created by Dr. Brook Choulet, The Performance Psychiatrist®, designed to bring expert-led conversations on mental health, resilience, and high performance directly into professional sports environments. Through game-day experiences across different professional sporting leagues, the Series advances public awareness, education, and community engagement around mental health in sport.

Join us at the Arizona Cardinals Home Opener on Sunday, September 20, for a special Training the Mind Series™ pregame experience inside State Farm Stadium. The event will feature two brief back-to-back panel discussions with leaders in the mental health, sports, and performance space, followed by a networking reception where attendees can connect before kickoff.

This event brings together leading organizations committed to advancing mental health awareness, including the American Board of Sports & Performance Psychiatry, the American Psychiatric Association Foundation, Morgan's Message, and PlaySafe USA.
