About the Workshop: Social workers often spend years developing clinical skills without intentionally developing their professional identity. This workshop helps participants define and communicate a professional brand grounded in their values, strengths, expertise, and lived experience so they can make more aligned career decisions, increase their impact, and pursue opportunities with confidence.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify the core values, strengths, and experiences that shape an authentic professional brand and distinguish participants from others in the field.

  • Apply a practical framework to communicate professional expertise through resumes, LinkedIn profiles, networking conversations, and interviews while remaining aligned with social work ethics.

  • Develop an actionable plan to strengthen professional visibility, expand career opportunities, and make future career decisions based on alignment rather than external expectations.
