Arizona Licensure
About Licensure
Social Workers in the state of Arizona are regulated by the Board of Behavioral Health Examiners (BBHE). The Arizona licensure law is a "practice act" that restricts the practice of psychotherapy to behavioral health professionals licensed at the highest level. In the case of social work, the independent level is LCSW.
